ok, i jsut got my directed 1100D amp, its the older version, the black one with the silver stripes, now its a mono amp, wich has my kind of confused, i has two output terminals, like where you hook up your speaker wires. i thought mono amps only had one? hence the name mono. now how will i know if i have the right load going to them or not? do i jsut guess? they're not really labeled with anything besides + and - . i bought it used from my friend so i dont have the book. help anyone?

it's still a mono. just has the 2 terminals to make it easier for wiring more then one sub. just do positive to positive and negative to negative.

no, the terminals are connected in parallel to each other inside the amp. That has nothing to do with being bridged.
