i just grabbed a directed 1100d. i wanted to know the true rms watts.

i have 2 hifonics goliath 2400w rms subs but i want to use 1 for now.

with the 15" being qaud 4 ohm. i have 2 wiring options 4 the 1100d, either 0.5 ohm or 2ohm load.

I hooked up just one side of the 15 to the directed yesterday and it was dimming the shit outta lights. i've have systems in my car that hit but it never dimmed the lights that bad. but i just dont wanna blow anything. so please guys let me know what u think it might be. or something...

I only have a shitty a$$ ported house 15" subwoofer box im using for now. until i get my slot-ported box for 2 15's in a week.

i tried it at .5 ohms . it doesnt beat at all...my old duals hit harder than this. i must not be doin something right. i mean i do have some shitty wires on the coils hooked up to it but its just temporary ...it should at least BANG.....when i turn the amp power up anything past 25% it make the sub start burping...i let it burp for a few secs and it blew my fuse in the fuse holder btw...its a 60a fuse ...and it doesnt even beat @ 25% what am i doin wrong. its in a 89 box with a lil batterty under the hood.....btw im running 1/0ga wire to battery
