I was sitting in my car with my door wide open. My friend who was parked next to me wasn't paying attention and starting backing out. He hit my door with the edge of his bumper. Thankfully the bumper is plastic, and he only left a very small dent (the size of a dime) on my door. No scratches, just a dent. I was upset, but didn't freak out because s**t happens. He'll pay to get the dent fixed, but I'm curious if anyone has any idea of who to see, and how much this might cost me.

Is it painted plastic? if it is u can probably just fill it with body filler and use some touch up paint to paint over it.

A shop should be able to do it for under $150.

U could pop it out, but if its a good shop they'd probably wanna make it look perfect, which would require some filler and sanding, and refinished if its painted.

I mean if u really wanna go cheap have him give u $50 and just leave it there.

Paintless dent repair if it's not over 1/2" dia. Cost around $75.00

most PDR places, especially when work is slow (outside of the hail season, which currently just started) usually have a minimum charge, maybe $75-150 depending on the shop and then each additional dent is based of of a scale which uses dents per area...

its a good process, ive been educated on it for the last 7 years, even did some PDR work for about 3 weeks myself for PARS in denver, co as part of my hands on training for the insurance company i work for...

general rule of thumb is no larger than a half dollar in most panels, some panels smaller, some panels maybe a bit larger depending on if they can use their glue sticks or not...

I had PDR on my car and it looked great, body shop told me I would need a new skin for the door so I called PDR has them come take a look and $75 later I was good as new..
