I also recall seeing 'spiral' ports years ago, but these are just a gimmick and not (in my opinion) beneficial to the application of a port.

interested to see results....I don't think any one's ever done a drop in test with smooth vs dimpled. At least not any that I've seen

I would think in a daily set up no. But in comp where every little .xx counts then maybe. I've seen them in installs befor, but never messed with one personally.
