Dimmer

I've got an 880PRS. Wired it all up without issue using PAC wiring harness. The one thing wrong is the dimmer doesn't seem to work. Docs state that it will dim when headlights are on. I see no difference with mine. I've verified the Dimmer setting on the 880 is turne on. My one question is the docs didn't mention the dimmer line, but I believe it was the Orange and white one, which if I remember right was labeled illum. I went ahead and wired it to the same orange and white line on the PAC harness. Thoughts?

no idea, i just installed mine on my 3-sereis and the dimmer works. check the dimmer brightness settings and make sure they arent the same. If they are, it wont dim.

another thing, go into the menu with the radio off, and goto the brightness settings. While there, turn the headlights on and see if it changes. on mine, if i do this it will change the setting on the headunit....and you can adjust the dim settings while the headlights are on.

If it doesnt...i dont know, recheck your wiring again.

The dim wire i believe is orange. It should be the same color on the harness.
