dilemma 360 or ps3

Well my first xbox 360 elite just died (1 month after the 1 year warranty expired). I would have changed to a PS3, however I already have all the games for the 'box. I just ended up getting another base model one and am playing it now actually.

did it die or just rrod? because i think they have extended warranty for up to 3 yrs if the problem is rrod.

i don't have problems playing cod4 on PS3 online, for free. And my BDs play fine on my Sony Wega HDTV, with cheap HDMI cable and cheaper optical sound cable...

I say PS3. I hate Microsoft. And Burnout Paradise online FTW.

well i think u have to think about what games your gona play. if your gona want to play online. see what your friends have. and hey why not get a sick computer. i love pc games. they look good u can play online. u just have to upgrade every 6 months or so lol. so u can play all the new pc games. i bought a 360 the other day i did not like it. i got a wii yesterday i brought it back today. just upgrade your pc. motherboard, processor; ram and a video card (soundcard if u want). take a min and think about it.u did the right think about asking on here.

I say get a 360. They have a larger variety of games, than the PS3 has. And Xbox Live is wayyy better than the Playstation Network. Why do you think the Playstation Network is free?

I like my 360 but they have had issues and are known for it. Be prepared to have one fail or just get a ps3.

Games on 360 tend to run more smoothly and look better in HD, but the PS3 has the whole Blu-Ray thing going for it. It's up to you tbh.

Idk about you...but when I buy a game console I expect to play some good games on it, which I don't see where the PS3 passes that at all.

yea the ps3 doesn't have the games xbox has and never will. Microsoft has games made especially for the xbox, and almost every game the ps3 has. now that gta 4 is on the xbox i see no reason at all anymore to have a play station. xbox live rocks and costs about $4 a month, you can get a 120 or 160 GB HD for the 360 and you have H3.... oh and the things you can download and do on xbox live now are incredible.
