Can someone figure out the tuning on this enclosure i'm thinking about building it.

12" at the bottom

best guess without calculating it out is around 36-37Hz

Just mapped it out and it looks like the specs come to:

-2.053584364584 cubes before sub

-44.9547hz tuning

-48.75 sq inches of port

So, with a sub in it the tuning will slightly raise and volume will go down a little chunk

take a bit of the port area out.... thats like having four 4" aero's for a single 12 in a 2 cube box. do 75% of that port area and recalculate tuning.

x2 seems quite excessive on port area to me...which is just killing the tuning.

Enclosure is 2.57 cubic feet net, tuned to 41.7hz.

And I don't know where someone got over 48sq in of port, as it only has 39sq in.

The tuning cannot be that low. Even if everything is ideal, a 19.5x3" port in 2.5 cubic feet is over 40hz.

as far as I know, the DD boxes are tuned to +/- 40hz
