Different Dust Caps Equal Different Sound??

Hello, I have a 18" re audio xxx thats been reconed its an 05 model. The dust cap or cover is about 5 inches or so in diameter, my question is will this affect how it plays with another same year same cone model that has lets say a 2 inch in diameter dustcap (not maybe in literal terms of 2 inches lets just size an inch or two or three difference in dustcap size) sorry for maybe asking a dumb question just dont want to get another XXX and have to recone it to act as the other one thanks

On a subwoofer... practically no effect as long as one cap isn't SUPER heavy compared to the other.

I'd be more concerned that there are the same number of spiders of the same texture as well as an identical coil...

Who did the recone ?

Actually Jacob at sundown did the one I have and the one I want to buy was done by FI

Hmmm... if that is one of my 18" XXX I did that a LONG time ago with parts supplied by FI.
