Whats Jl stands for??
I have a cadence eq wid a built in subcrossover @ 18 db i borrowed a friend of mine subwoofer crossover made by the same cadence and by pass mine and i was amaze how much lower and cleaner the sub plays and the bass eq on his crossover is off it also is set to mono which make it crossover at 24 db. Does 24 db crossover brings out more lower notes or his crossover is just built better?

Assuming we are talking about a lowpass crossover...the slope won't affect the low end response of the system (i.e. it won't make the lower notes louder). It will however decrease the upper frequency response of the subwoofer, possibly making it seem as if the lower notes increased in output. Likewise, it could take some "stress" off of the subwoofer by decreasing it's bandwidth, possibly allowing it to more cleanly play the lower frequencies.
