i currently have a HO alternator and a HC1800 up front.. would i need to get 3 more 1800's?? or could i get a different brand and get some bigger batts? like some C&D batts or somethin cheaper but just as good?? ive heard somwhere that u dont need to mix batts and u need to get the same model casue it will throw the voltage off and drain the smaller batt or somethin like that. somone please help me out cause im in the process of buyin batts now and was wonderin the best way to do this

you can mix but you start running into territory where things may not last as long and need replaced sooner rather than later. A battery has a life span and when you throw more inconsistances into the mix that are not balanced the shorter that span can be. The difference is near impossible to put a figure on because of the way the batteries could be used and cared for. They may last 2 years they may last 4+ but if they started off balanced matched they could last months or years longer.

ummm well i was plannin on gettin a sundown 4500D when they come out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i'm gonna pre-order one this week. i'm gonna have 2 12 Fi BTL's Fully Loaded.
