IDMax are commonly ran infinite baffle, and as such their baskets are visible quite often. For a small increase in price, if someone wants a more appealing installation/subwoofer they have the option of the subwoofer coming with a chromed basket.

$50 isn't unreasonable, if it suits your installation and your taste.

I've seen them in a few installs (before they were publicly available)....they really look nice.

This coming from a guy who hates "flashy" equipment/installs.
