difference in separate chambers?

compared to a box that has only 1 chamber for 2 subwoofers?

gives the sub a more independant feeling. doesnt interfere with the other sub using the space.

If one sub has issues it wont effect the other...and if you pull the other sub you can keep playing with the one still functioning with no ill effects due to the box now being too large

or due to the fact that theres a big hole in the box where the other sub was? i too question this, but for me, im dividing my box just so the divider acts like a box long brace, i dont think it could hurt anything,

i dont really think so, are you running both subs off the same amp, then i say no big deal, but if there off different amps, they could be just a lil bit off, but for one amp 2 subs, if you want to, ported enclosure im guessing?

basically ur building two small ported boxes, if you notice in that port theres a divider there.
