Difference in porting with PVC or Snailshell design?

Does it make a difference in sound depending on which method you use to port your box? Not sure if I want to build the port into the box or use PVC for the port.

FYI: A "snail shell" box is totally different than just a ported box with a slot port, which is what you are referring to.

But no, there isn't an audible difference assuming you build them both correctly.

Yeah, id say as long as youd sand the PVC and build it right theyr the same, but slot port is probably easier...advantage to PVC port is that you can switch it out and change your tuning.
