All politicians are crooked. What's the point of even voting anymore? All the politicians care about is what stupid party they are with instead of trying to fix problems for the people. There shouldn't even be parties, just people trying to fix our problems.

The quality of one's life in a country is based on their economic infrastructure, not population. Their economy is developed in proportion to the increase in population. This concept is similar to the supply and demand concept, and if American can't develop an economy designed to meet their population’s needs, then their doing something wrong.

Jobs are scares in the United States, and even college graduates find it difficult to obtain a job out of school. This is also why the middle-class is slowly disappearing in the US, because the rich keep getting richer, and the poor keep on getting poorer. In the end, the Microsoft’s, chevrons, war-profiteers, and the corporations will control a large portion of the nations wealth, and the average Joe's of the US will be left to suffer. These monopolies’s are slowly taking over the nation, and the politicians stand and watch because their dirty money and corrupt minds keep them quiet.

You live in the fukking best country in the world, yet think up some lame *** reasons not to take five fukkin minutes out of your shitty life to vote. People should look down on you for choosing not to vote; you are part of the few lucky ones who are living in the best time and place in history, all thats asked is you participate in the government that makes your charmed life possible.
Is the system perfect? Of course not, but its certainly the best one the world has seen so far. Personally i would rather deal with a few inconveniences around election time, like political ads and phone calls, than live in a police state or a dictatorship.

i dont have a link cuz i saw this a few days ago but there was a survey on the most happy and most unhappy countries in the world. denmark was the happiest, some small country in africa was the most unhappy and the U.S. was 23rd.....now how can this be the best country????? we have babies starving in the streets, old people with nobody to help them and we spend money on guns and bombs....90 freakin billion worth like every year.....great country you're right.

Thats exactly right. No reason to raise minimum wage. It's not designed to make a living off of. The only thing minium wage is good for is for college kids and retirees to make extra cash on the side. It's is not designed to feed a family of 6, and shouldnt be considered as such. If your dumb enough to pop out 6 babies, and have not gotten yourself a good enough education to make more than minium wage, then thats your fault. Let's just jack the wage up to $12 an hour why don't we? Maybe then I can pay $10 for a cheesburger.

Why don't you move to France. They have free healthcare, and a 70% tax rate. BTW. Our economy is booming right now. Unemployment is at an all time low, GDP is surging, stock market is above 12k for the first time ever. As far as taxes go, the top 90% or earners still pay about 85% of all taxes anyway. Most people who earn extremely low, or are considered borderline poverty don't even pay income taxes due to the bracket.

My point is that more people have lived a higher standard of living in the USA than any other society in the history of the world.
