I didn't vote for many reasons, but I'm surprised how many people who ***** about the way the country is being ran who didn't vote, kinda makes your opinion worthless eh?

You live in the fukking best country in the world, yet think up some lame *** reasons not to take five fukkin minutes out of your shitty life to vote. People should look down on you for choosing not to vote; you are part of the few lucky ones who are living in the best time and place in history, all thats asked is you participate in the government that makes your charmed life possible.
Is the system perfect? Of course not, but it’s certainly the best one the world has seen so far. Personally I would rather deal with a few inconveniences around election time, like political ads and phone calls, than live in a police state or a dictatorship.

Who said I was complaining? I was merely pointing out the reasons why our ISN'T the best country in the world, and if in fact we're the best country in the world (subjective opinion) is due to the fact that we either blow up the other countries, or we force them into submission through military force. How can a country that is in Trillions of dollars in debt, and controlled by a dictator-like leader such as George W. Bush be the best country in the world? There are better countries out there, and that's a FACT. On what basis are you comparing the United States to? 3rd world countries? Look at these links and state your comment agian with confidence.

By all means, I love America, and I'd choose this country over the other top 5 countries because it's home. I don't necessarily approve of all the corruption in out political system, but I can say politicians are crooked bastards, and that's why I don't vote.

politics in this country are a joke and those so called leaders are barely able to hold the country together, as it is, with their shady "politics." Everything is done behind the citizens back and most laws that wouldnt pass normal voting are hidden within other bullshit laws so they will pass. Politicians are greedy bastards..sure their job doesnt Pay them a lot of money (well, I consider $90K/yr or more pretty dern good!) the real reason politicians get in and settle down for the long haul is all the "other" money they make. Go ahead and TRY to tell me there is one straight politician that isnt a filthy greedy bastard with his own interests, (or those he is paid to be interested in,) first and foremost, then those of the people he is supposed to be representing.

I am going to school in Utah, but the RNC came here recruiting people to go volunteer at swing states. I was sent to Baltimore, but I had friends in VA, MT, GA, etc.....We were basically the ones annoying the crap out of you calling all the time getting you to go vote. It was fun, but it sucks we were beat so badly...(i obviously voted Sonny Perdue- Being from GA)

If you look back ofter the past 60 years or so our country has always been it's most prosperous and in the best shape when no party was dominate. Repub. president with a dem house or vice versa.

And those are pretty big as countries.... Canada is as large, if not larger than the US. Canada homicide rate of their entire country is equivilent to Oakland, CA alone. They sleep with there doors unlocked and have free medical insurance. Now that's a country.
