how do you change .wma format then? most of them I just ripped from my cd's...the others I already had from DL'ing them

Thats the major reason I didnt get an Ipod. I like the fact that my sandisk sansa supports multiple formats.

What program did you use to rip? There are usually settings in the ripper where you can choose the format and bit rate that you want.

In windows media player, there is an option that you can select for ripping your cds into mp3s.
