the alt to battery is the one that should b fusedlooks good!
I gotta do mine once I install my system in my explorer..
I m wondering if you fused any of the wires there? Some advised that we should fuse one of the wires, not sure which one.. but not sure if it is going to be necessary..
that would be a good idea!!!nope, it's not going anywhere though, the wire is pretty firmly in place. but i will probably throw a zip tie on it just to be safe.
thanks man! thats my sorta cheap S.Q. setup. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifLooks good mang!
Nice stereo setup as well.
Was this voltage reading @ the battery or at the amp?started the car today to go out for a lil bit.... when it first started up my voltage was at 14.7!!! then stayed above 14.4 for a good bit. the big 3 in my car made a HUGE difference even in keeping the voltage at a higher number.
nice to know i can now get rated power out of my amps(the power ratings are at 14.4v), even though numbers are just numbers.
anybody thinking about doing the big three do it! $36 bucks shipped is all it costs for 10ft of wire and 6 ends. it's worth it!
it should be very close anywhere you read it from. the number at the amps and the battery should be very close, especially with everything at a low volume not drawing much. my HU displays the voltage which i have tested to be the same as at the amps.where should it be read from?
