Did sundown ever use high temp coil in nsv3?

Just curious if sundown ever used for any reason in their subs black high temp coils or is this coil toast? This nsv3 is said to be brand new this is sitting stationary has anyone ever encountered this? Emailed jacob but haven't heard from him yet

I bought my nightshades from the yard sale and they were out of rutherfords Tahoe. The coils were black but I'm still using them two years later.

In this thread page 3 I post a pic of my brand new nsv3 recone that I had to get because one woofer was d1ohm and my other three were d2. But u can see the coil is kinda dark in areas
Just curious you posted that pic on the fb add telling dude you thought the coil looked burnt on his new nsv3 15? I ask because I ended up buying it but it wasn't till after I paid for it that I went back to the add to see if he had marked it sold that I realized someone saying they thought the coil looked burnt I never even paid attention to that just trying to make sure
