Ah, well that's different, heat sinks don't mean much and there is a lot of common usage across the industry, and especially with more underground companies. Kinda like people who think that any sub using a 12-spoke basket is basic and not much different than others.

I agree I was not putting down sundown or skar was just saying "if skar did copy some stuff from sundown" well guess what sundown copied from other brands as well. So based on what he said both of them are just a bunch of copy cats.

The Skar 2578.... Dude who really cares? 2500 is a common power rating because people generally look at power in ranges of 500.

well if skar wants to be known as a sundown nuthuggers thats fine if owned my own brand or company i would try to be unique not just do as all others are doing i look at it this way sundown= kraft cheese skar= kroger brand ..lol

ah blah_4000SUNDOWN didn't invent power ratings and weren't the first to name their amps by power ratings. Its an easy way to know what you're going to get from the amp. Personally I hate to look up amps and seblah blah 4000 and then read the specs and its a 1k rms amp. Who cares what its called, as long as it does the job.

Jacob is not affiliated in any of the production with our amplifiers. I was getting many customer requests to come out with a 2500 @ 1 Class D so that is what we did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. There are plenty of companies out there in the same power range, we just sell our product and back our product. To each his own.

TfFord5, you are more then welcome to run Sundown if that is how you feel - we are far from being known as that and our customers continue to enjoy our new product releases.
