did i short my amp?

My usx2100 was on and my rca wires fell out while i had the system going, and I put them and the amp just shut off. What is wrong?

check the fuse.. did your deck shut down to?.. could be a lot of things

no the deck didn't shut down. all fuses seem fine.

did it smoke or did it smell... open it up and look and see if its blown up... i don't know...check the power wire..remote...

ok... I changed the ground and for some reason the new ground works better. Now why is my amp flashing in and out of protect mode?

good question my rca's have come out before and i hooked them right back in with no problem could still be the ground if there is paint under your ground it wont be solid

you could have fried your rca cable too i have done that and my amp would come in and out

I've been playing around and I can't figure out if its the rca wires or inputs. Only one rca works ononly one input. And that input is loose so the signal isn't even constant. I think maybe I should just buy a new amp and new rca.
