Did I just get ripped off with cadence wire?

Bought a 0 awg cadence power wire kit (supposedly ofc) from amazon, and it turns out it's just about the same thickness as my old 0 awg knukonceptz kca wire! so i don't know if my knukonceptz was oversized, or this one is undersizedd, but in cross section they look about the same. what are your thoughts? and while we are on it, does OFC vs CCA make a difference when pushing around 1300W? my longest run is about 15ft.

knukonceptz klmx 4 awg on left, cadence 0 awg on right

you're fine with either wire. how do you figure that the Cadence wire was OFC? there are no descriptions of Cadence wire as OFC, it's been described as "pure copper stranding" which is clearly not OFC or Pure Copper.

Yes you got ripped, the knu 4 ga almost looks bigger. I'd send it back. Isn't cadence a supporting vendor for this site? You should post this in their forum.

**** '11ers, all Knu wire is oversized as well as Shok, Stinger HPM, Kicker Hyperflex, RF, and a few others. the Cadence 0 gauge is still rated for 200a which is perfectly fine for what he is running.

I was on this site back in '01-02, I'm not new. I didn't say it wouldn't work for him. I's just pretty bad when one company's 4 ga is larger than another's 0, even if the knu is slightly oversized. But it was probably quite cheap, so maybe not really a ripoff.

haha yea except i just spent 65 bucks and 6 hours ripping out my old 4 gauge knukonceptz wire and installing this 0 gauge cadence instead, because i thought the old one was 'too small' .

maybe ill go with knukonceptz kca or some welding wire...

just b/c you were on a forum 10 years ago doesn't mean anything. I've posted plenty of times that Cadence wire is CCA. I even have pics posted of it against Kicker Hyperflex wire. if you would looking up the wire diameter of AWG 0 you'd see it is slightly larger than that and that Knu and like brands are much larger almost a full gauge larger. the misleading part of the word stranding, if stranding means complete or pure I'd understand but clearly this is a word that ppl are understanding as pure or only. here is the pic again of Cadence 0 gauge compared to Kicker Hyperflex.

which is which in that picture? either one of those looks like the conducting diameter is much larger than the wire i received. maybe i got some counterfeit?

Either way you fail for not buying knukonceptz, its cheaper and better.
You must not have a very good life, huh? Every one of your posts is either wrong or just straight hate. You are an idiot bruh.

OP, I have both KNU KCA 1/0 and Cadence 1/0 and I prefer the Cadence, it is the same diameter and also more flexible. I also got it for almost half the price of the KNU wire.
