well i googled it and followed the instructions. used the calculator to get my voltage for my hifonics 2006d so i put in 2000watts rms and came up with 44.7 volts. ran a 0db 50hz tone at exactly 75 percent on my radio with bass down at 0 and treble at 0. slowly adjust bass and treble and got to middle point on both. then i adjust my gain then lpf and got to about 43 volts since it said go a lil under.

now the question is should i take off the bass on my head unit and bring up the gain on the amp? or just leave it how it is.

Dont touch the bass leave it at zero and get 2k out of it with no artificial enhancements. Should be cleaner power since your not amplifying a boosted signal to get the wattage.

Treble you can adjust for highs does not affect subwoofer. Idealy you would want it wanging hard at 0 and then if you need less bass you turn it down.
