It looked to me like his toes were in bounds and his heel was out of bounds but never touched the ground. I'm not sure what the rule is on that though.

no he didnt, an IF by chance he might have, from every angle shown you couldnt tell. it was inconclusive. there was not enough evidence to prove he stepped out of bounds. therefore the play shouldnt have been overturned.
