Did all the AA Avalanches use the same motor?

I am looking into purchasing a used AA Avalanche 12'' because I here good things about them. I want to play around with it as a 12'' or a little while so I can still have some trunk space for doing stuff around campus. After I get tired of the sub(or it gets tired of 1400rms) I was going to get Dave(PSI) to recone it to a 15'' or even 18".

Can anyone confirm that the AA Avalanches use the same motors for me?

all the ones i had did.. and i had 15s/ and some 12s out the wazoo.

You have any idea why AA never kept the things going? They practically killed production before their release haha.

Yes they all used the same motor...and I wouldn't recone it to an 18 if I were you...parameters aren't going to be right unless you have the original surround tooling that is much floppier

Chad didn't like the car audio market so he is off onto another venture focused around home audio stuff..
