Go for the TDX if you want higher distortion, inferior quality, and worse overall performance.

As to the comment of a TDX outperforming a W7...that's just funny.

Just to educate the ignorant, if you look both at science, facts, and even actual tests, the TDX is a good 4-5dB behind the W7 for linear output, and has more distortion at any output level.

I doubt I'd take a TDX over a w6v2 either...

i did it...

12w7 off my pg tantrum 1200.1 @ 4ohms meaning it was getting more b/c it was running @ 3ohms...

did it blow - NOPE.

the tdx will murder the w6v2 in sound quality. i have had the W7 in a 12 and the tdx in a 12 and i will take the tdx over the w7 anyday. i believe that the tdx has greater sound quality than the W7, and i think it is louder. i am more than happy with the sound quality of my tdx. it is gettting 1200 watts and it has about a 2 cu ft sealed box. i have also tried the eclipse titanium 12, i think it is the 9122 or something, i cant remember, and i have tried the W7 in the same conditions. the W7 just cant handle that kind of power.

your comments are funny, sq is subjective however - since i've seen them both in action and as a matter of fact owned a 12w6v2, i can really say that the tdx doesn't sound TO MY EARS any cleaner than a w6v2

well, honestly...if it was me, i'd go with whichevr one i could get cheaper. And, warren makes a point...try to hear some side by side installs...that would be the a better decision. peace
