Has anyone purchased Diamonds through Ebay ? I see on Diamonds site they say don't buy through the internet. Why and should it be adhered to ?

some ebay stores have been known to sell fake products as original. Also you will not get the warranty you would get from an authorized dealer.

Ebay has no fake diamond products.......

Diamond makes tons of products for internet BUT

in an effort to keep thier retailers from going belly up

they make the value of the products greater by offering longer warrentys...

and of course zero warrentys on line........I havent bought an "Autherized"

car audio part in 5 years and NEVER had a problem with any of the items

MFGs are FOS,they make everything you see on Ebay

except for a very few counterfit Focals I have never heard of any issues online

with fakes

I know Memphis has the same notice and Ive seen a bunch of other companies have stuff like that on their website, they just want their dealers and retailers to sell products at the price they want, instead of wholesalers online who sell this below cost

You can buy online and have a warranty, you just have to know how the system works. Just buy from a seller who has a store/ongoing online presence, one that offers an "in store warranty". Then, if you have a problem, send it back to that store, not the manufacturer. The store will in turn send it back to the authorized dealer they purchased it from. In this way, you do have a warranty.
