i found a brand new component diamond audio set for about $190. Its diamond audio d651.

- 160w Peak Power

 

- 80w RMS

 

- Full Component Set (2 Midbass woofers, 2 tweeters, 2 crossovers)

Diamond makes excellent drivers, expecially comp sets. Search around a bit, you should be able to find some great reviews/threads on the company.

They will provide nice mid bass, but you arent going to get any subsonic tones with any average comp set. And regardless, you wont get anything resembling a subwoofer out of a component.

yeah thats true.. so should i pay the 200 for these or jus stick with some phoenix gold or kickers and then just get subs? because those are only bout 100

Front stage should be the upmost importance for a vehicle, I wouldnt cheap out on your components if I were you. The Diamonds will be awsome, be sure to get a seperate amp though, it would be a shame to run them off a HU...

really.. alright thanks lots. i have a 75W rms x 4 amp... and some 6x9 audiobahns w/200W rms ( yeah most people do hate audiobahns but i heard these arent too bad) but ill be sure to check these out n get back to ya!... you do hear most from the front speakers too so that should be nice

my amp is an audiobahn, but there was over 15 reviews that looked good.. im not sure about the 6x9s.. there the best audiobahn makes tho.

I cant say it 'wont be good', because anything can sound good with the right installation.
