Diamond D661 vs MB Quart DSF 216 vs DLS RS6

Hi All,

As topic suggests i'm after some 6.5" components around $100 - $150 and saw the following;

Diamond D661

MB Quart DSF 21

DLS RS6

DLS C6

What would you recommend? Looking for good deep midrange and smooth tweeters.

I would either go with the DLS or Diamond..i dont think the DISCUS series would even compete. I stick to my Diamond product, however the DLS are smooth...

well...mb quart makes some good speakers but diamond makes really good sq speakers...mb is cheap and good but the discus lack good midbass at time and can be harsh. If you know how to set it up it don't be as harsh...I would say mb is you want good quality cheap and diamond is you want so really really really good sql speakers with good midbass...

Diamond for the price.

There was a rave about them some time back.

Diamond Audio S600A (HEX S600 w/ Aluminum Dome Tweeters) these will fit but their much more expensive would they be worth it?

ill just say dont go with the dls...had it..although they are smooth, the tweet plays like u put a blanket over it and the midbass produces a kickass bass but that all, the mid tones are too muddy

funny you should say that as i heard some DLS's and they didn't quite have the deeper midrange.
