Diamond D612D4...1.5ft^3 at 30Hz???

I've got a Diamond D612D4 laying around that was previously in a Diamond-spec ported box, which I believe was 1.25ft^3 tuned to about 40 or 42. Did not like.

I have another ported box in my possession, a 1.5ft^3 tuned to 30Hz. Would it be worth trying the D6 in this enclosure?? Anybody using anything similar??

i think most people will suggest taking 5 minutes and hooking it up and seeing if YOU like it. I am sure it will work great.
