Diamond D6 vs. Sundown SA12

I am currently running a Sundown SA-12 D2 but might be able to trade for a Diamond D6 12 D4. Both are in custom ported boxes built to spec. I'm just wondering your opinions and experiences as well as the pros and cons of both. I'm looking to compare:

-Sound Quality

-Power handling

-SPL (which is more efficient and is there a noticeable difference off the same amp)

-Recone/repairability

-Personal opinions if you've owned/heard both

Looking forward to the feedback. Thanks guys.

I am currently running the sa-12 at 1 ohm on a rockford t500-1bd. So somewhere around 680wrms. It's not as clean as I would like so I might be getting a new amp soon. So amp aside, any ideas?

How much cleaner is 2ohms vs 1?
It wouldn't really matter now days. Main thing to check with your current build is box quality design and to be sure your not clipping the sub. I've found the sa line to be a very good sounding speaker. If you are running sealed the d6 would prolly sound better but then again you would need more power to stay as loud as a ported box.

Thanks that helps. I'm constantly struggling with clipping. I run a Kenwood hu with 4v pre-outs, no bass boost on hu or amp. My equalizer is set at +1 or +0 for bass and my whole system is tuned to Max at volume 25 give or take out of 35. Still get clipping and have to re-tune. I think I'm going to try and keep my sa12. I'm hoping to pick up a zapco reference 750.2 and then I'll just bridge it on the 4 ohm load. I'm excited for this one. Thanks for the help guys, if you have any advice on tuning I'm all ears. I know basics, but obviously I'm missing some stuff.
