how are these subs? im looking to get something to start my SQ build. not so much for competition but a good daily ride. i know these things can gt pretty loud, but they WILL be sealed if i go with them. im waiting on info from a few people on possible deals.

Well i have the d6 15's and they sound pretty good, just not loud enough for me, so im upgrading, maybe to the d9's

ive got the d6 as u know.....and they get loud wt enough power.....they are power hungry, but are loud on a decent amount also.....so basically to get their full potential alot of power is needed....they can handle alot...i had mine sealed for a little bit and they sounded great, but as any woofer, more output ported....u wont regret porting it

well i need 2 10's in the 300 dollar range for both of them. im going ebay on them. i can splurge a little of course (IA LI's) but where do u find those?

Well im from detroit, theres a dealer hear that carrys them. You should be able to get some off of ebay, im not sure how much though. Hey kotec, what was your meter outcome? my slow *** dial-up didnt let view it. I wonder what kind number im makin with my 4400 watt!

D6s get plenty loud,

Most of the DA users I see either underpower them or have them in some crappy ported enclosure that just doesnt perform.

They will never be as loud as lets say an MTX 8500 or 9500 sub thank goodness

but they do get loud enough for my old ears and Id like to say I am a bass junkie.
