which of these would be the most solid choice for the money new or used.

Both have great build quality and make rated power. Looking for a component amp anywhere 100-150/channel and a sub amp 800-1200

I have two Diamond amps and they are about as good as you can get for the money. I have the D6 1500.1 and the D5 600.2 and they are great amps. Look at Hifisoundconnection.com or the fellow with the screen name EXCELERATOR, he is good to work with.

but the kar series amps are pretty **** nice if i must say.

i just picked up a 400.2 and am loving it alot.

and you cant beat the $120 i payed for it.

i would say both are solid choices and it comes down to which one you like better and fits your budget better.

cant go wrong with Diamond or ARC

i have a diamond d3 400.2 and a d5 300.2 amp for sale.

d3 is new never used.

d5 has some knicks on it, is used and works great.

i loved my diamond d5 600.2, until i screwed it up having it mounted to a box. only drawback i see to it is the dimensions, its about 19x12x2.5. most amps are only about 9 inches wide.

I have an Arc 400.2 and a 200.2 for sale.

400.2 does 100x2 @4ohms mono but that's very conservative and 400 bridged, but I'd probably say it's closer to 500 watts. The 200.2 is rated at 50x2 but I'd say it's more like 80-85 and bridged it is rated at 200 watts but it is closer to 275 watts.
