When I turn my stereo on, the D1000.1 just sends my sub a solid weird sounding note, not connected to the music being played. Could this be the gain is set incorrect? Im pretty lost. The sub is an Obsidian Audio D4 which is wired to 2 ohms, the amp can handle a 1 ohm load so I just dont know. Appreciate any knowledge of what is going on. Thanks

check your rcas. .Check the amps ground.

Had this happen to me with a refurbed Boston GT2125. Get the amp checked as it might be bad. Otherwise, make sure your RCAs aren't grounded out to something. For what it's worth, I ended up having to replace the Boston (with the same model) and the problem went away instantly.
