Diagnosing a MTX Thunder 275X

Correct Observation!,

I don't know how to fix it at this particular moment. If I knew where on the amp these "FET's" are and knew how to check them, I do know how to use a meter, and handtools. I'm sure its not over my head.

Again, Thanks!

getting the correct parts is the challenge, and then making sure nothing else died with the fets. you'll need to have special testing equipment and shit for all that.

i'd contact db-r or any of the other amp repair guys here.

the guy that made that amp repair website is a genius when it comes to amp repair. He's like one of those mechanics that can listen to your car and know exactly whats wrong with it. He has helped me fix many amps by giving him a simple description of the issue.

those amps have a problem with the rca inputs coming loose and causing wierd shit to go on insider the amp. Dbr can fix if he isnt swamped, also ampjunkielikeme, dbr said if the fets are blown there is a beefier fet that can replace them, I have a 250x with a non working channel (think it got wet) and a 2300 that im going to send out one day
