did u use drop off location ?They are definately cheap, I can ship good size packages across the country overnight for 5 or 6 bucks, they rarely get there overnight (even when I choose and pay for overnight service), but easily by two days.
How does automated billing double bill though, I have to think I'm not the only person thats found this awesome glitch. Its just too bad it happened when I was shipping 8 large items instead of when I was shipping 1 or 2 things. The overcharge wouldn't be so bad and it wouldn't have locked my card then.
That sucks man. I will not wait that long, I will do a chargeback after a few days if there is no resolution.I got some bad news for you. It's going to be awhile before you see any money back. I sent two amps with them and the total for both was about 20 bucks. It even said it on my receipt. Whoever typed it in the computer hit overnight air instead of ground. I was charged 180 bucks. When I called and finally got ahold of someone they told me it had to go through a different department and they had 30 BUSINESS TO GET IT DONE. It took about three weeks. Have never used them again.
I printed out waybills and attached them to the packages. The 4 wheels I shipped I dropped off at a local dhl staffed place. The 4 tires I shipped I drove all the way to their hub to drop off since they were 35x12.5 and 65lbs each. Somehow both shipments, dropped off at different locations, got double billed and just showed up on my bank account today.did u use drop off location ?
Airborne Express saver is usually a couple bucks cheaper then ground //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif for those that use fedex. Thats the only company i use now...havent had a problem yet and things are usually 3 day delivery regardless of where its going. And for the same price as USPS and you get free insurance and tracking, i cant complain...The only stuff that ever came on time through DHL was from Dell. Everything else was slow, and the tracking was horrible.
FedEx has always been the fastest, most reliable, and most affordable in my experience. FedEx Home Delivery is really cheap, but most shipping places don't offer it. I have a FedEx account that I get it through, and just drop the packages off.
I use a fedex account almost exclusively, but if I want to overnight something or need to send an oversize package DHL is about 1/5th the cost of fedex for me. I get to use the DHL account through my work so I get ridiculously large discounts...well atleast until they double bill stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifThe only stuff that ever came on time through DHL was from Dell.
