Cliffs - DHL sucks again, this time I'm out $170 bucks due to double billing and my debt card is locked for 24hrs:

I should know better than to ship with DHL but the discounts I get are great. Shipped out 4 rims and 4 tires using their web interface. Instead of charging me once for all the shipments, or even just 8 times, they screwed up and double billed the shipments trying to send 16 charges to my debt card...

At 15 charges from DHL in my bank shut off charging to my card and now I can't use it until tomorrow because I have a 15 charge/day limit on it. Tried to use it today and got denied, that was awesome. Called DHL, first it took forever to get them to understand they double charged me. I had to walk the dood through checking how many packages I sent, how many charges hit my card, and the simple math. Now they say I have to wait to get refunded, they can't just reverse the charges. A billing person there was supposed to call me back over two hours ago and hasn't.

DHL seems to drop the ball, and the packages alot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

That don't seem as good as the other big names in that business. I ordered a couple hats from hatworld and they sent out a conformation number and then a tracking number. I hit the link to take me there and says wrong tracking number! I am like what the F, I just clicked the link, so how can it be wrong. Then after a few days as I keep getting the same meassage, it finally brings up where it's been too and what not. Is funny how they have circled my entire state, but havent hit Ohio yet. Like you would think they would have hit Ohio by now. I swear to you, it has went to every state surrounding me and is finally en route too me, lol! Stupid DHL!

Well i use Fedex..yeah lil pricier but i never had problems with them.
I use fedex 99% of the time. I only use DHL when I'm not worried about the product. I figured they couldn't screw up a set of tires in shipping, but I didn't think about the billing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Never had a problem, ever. I've shipped or received from them well over 100times...

Cheapest, fastest, most reliable in my personal experience.

I haven't received much from them, but I used to ship through them all the time. They were quick and cheap, never really had anything damaged by them. They got a RE SX 15 from Idaho to New York within 3 days for $28 (ground).Never had anything take over 4-5 days.

UPS, I don't send much through them but I receive a lot and haven't had many problems at all. USPS priority is what I've been using to send my packages out lately. I've had the worst luck with FedEx, so I never use them. They're usually a lot slower than DHL and UPS.

They are definately cheap, I can ship good size packages across the country overnight for 5 or 6 bucks, they rarely get there overnight (even when I choose and pay for overnight service), but easily by two days.

How does automated billing double bill though, I have to think I'm not the only person thats found this awesome glitch. Its just too bad it happened when I was shipping 8 large items instead of when I was shipping 1 or 2 things. The overcharge wouldn't be so bad and it wouldn't have locked my card then.
