The A's actually have a very good pitching staff. Zito was solid all year, Haren did a good job, Saarloos filled in when Harden(Who will be good if he stays healthy)got hurt, Blanton who won like 15 games and Loazia who gives good quailty stats....most of the time. Then their bullpen is very good in Calero,Duchscherer,Gadin and their closer Street. That has kept them in the season and hopefully the playoffs. I am rooting for them.

Their offense will be the down fall for the most part.

their team era is a half-run higher then detroit's and loaiza is 0-1 with an 8.00 era against detroit

All three teams ARE deserving of being in the world series as far as im concerned...After detroit ruffed up zito they pretty much did NOTHING against the A's bullpen...They knew how to hit against Zito and I give them props for being more prepared in that aspect...other than that i still feel this series is up in the air...either team could win it...

yea i don't like it either.

casey is out and most likely guillen will be at 1st. i like guillen at first. i think he can be a better 1st basemen then shortstop. don't know who they'll go with at short. most likely infante. santiago would be the best choice for defense, but infante is pretty good himself. maybe infante will emerge this postseason and finally be the future shortstop cause guillen won't be playing short for long

Man I was @ game 1, and it was all bad. Barry Zito stunk it up in the 4th real bad. There were these two girls who made a huge Detriot banner and helped it up in the 7th inning.... BAD MOVE... Everyone was yelling at the B_tches and harrassing them with the passion.
