I heard that imports aren't allowed within Detroit city limits.

how old are you talking? your best bet be to call and see if they have the part you looking for. i know there are a couple yards i go to not sure if they got bwms, best bet be to call.

here is one i go to click says late model foreign and domestic.

like between 99-02. ive only called parts depot, and they dont have any. and im not sure what other junkyards are around here.

you could try serching on car-parts. com here, they have it by zip code so might be able to find some local places.

Their is a place on 8 mile, I cant remember what cross roads its near, it has tons of parts. One of those take your own parts off places.
