The tear down has begun. WOW this **** is so much harder to get out then I thought. After I rebuild this time I don't foresee me ever building another wall into a car that cannot be pulled out. Thank god for a saws all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

My last wall build took me hours to rip out, and several saws all blades..... Whoever said it is easier to destroy than create, must have never tried ripping a wall out.....
only true if you dont care about whats around what youre destroying //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Ya if I didn't care about the car I would load an ammo can with C4 and blow the bish apart. Going to do a 18.5cube 4th order with the 6 phoenix gold 12"s I currently have and if thats now loud enough im going to put a new baffle over the old and drop in some sundown SA 15s or a pair of PSI platform 1 18"S

4 15"s will be louder, than 2 18"s in there. Why not port on driver side, ever tried that yet??

From all of my testing, and its been a lot of testing, making a port that is 50% covered by the drivers seat baffles a significant amount of air flow. I like to put the port on the top as then the sound can roll across the roof, down the windshield and to the Mic, that is for metering purposes. As For a daily driver I don't like the port Directly behind any one person. Just a personal preference though.

As far as traditional walls go, I have never seen a port up top meter louder than port on driver side.....Tuned in for the rest of this build!

yeah the port on the drivers side will smash just fine and meter better good thing is if you tune it high your system will play low with the seat covering a little of the port for daily and for competition you can lean your seat foward and it will smash and be louder on the mic

Leaving the seats in the car I have had all my walls meter better that way. But for straight burp cars I yank the seats out when getting metered.
anything you can do to take up the airspace in the vehicle will make it louder. definitely keep the seats in. why do you thing you meter louder when there is a Mic monkey on the side where the mic is???
