Destine for Dissapointment

Guys I used to run a 15" l7 with 1100 watts on it tuned to about 35 hz. I since have gotten rid of that and have not had a system in about 5 years. I was looking at running 3 8's or 3' 10's in a ported box. Looking on paper the 3 10's should hold there own. I was looking at some powerbass or re's. I probably have 500 watts on them in any config. the amp will do 500 at 2 ohms so I know 3 will be about 2.67 ohms and close to 150-175 a 10 or 8. Can I get some opinions?
