You clearly don't understand much with this comment. Depression is no joking matter and can easily come when things get hard. You are 17 years old and still live with your parents. Based on all the money you have for car audio you either have parents who give you money or have no bills to pay. Wait till you go through debt, death, children and other tough experiences before making a comment like this. Life is easy until you're in the real world.
I live with my mom. My dad died last year after a year long battle with cancer. He was diagnosed a month after my best friend died in an accident. No, I don't have bills to pay, but I do work for my car audio money.
It's more than just all of what I said. Most people who have depression in the family don't get it till they become actual adults and stress sets in. You don't know anyone's past and even if you did you may not be open to understanding. He could have had an abusive father who also would lock himself in a room with a gun to his head every now and again. Imagine how that affects you as a child.
