I just want an invite lol
Why risk it?have we decided if its safe to use or could it really be a trap like some other forums online have suggested?
honestly most of the stuff i download as far as cd's if i like it i do go buy it. tv shows and what not is what i download the most of.Why risk it?
If you really want a CD go buy it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
IMO the risk is so minute that it's completely worth it. I take a greater risk with my life every time iI pull out of my driveway. If people are so scared then maybe they should put away the money they save by downloading in case they do have legal action taken against them. Why risk it?

everyone other than maybe metallica complaining about downloaded music i think most artists ive heard of say they really dont make squat off album sales that they make money off going on tour.I guess my big question is why download it if you don't want it?
When I did download I would download bands I was interested in, then delete them if I didn't like them. Or go buy the CD and rip them in lossless.
It isn't really that I'm concerned about being "sued". I just want to own a physical copy. I pretty my only listen to music on my Hi-Fi system, so MP3 is about useless.
My iPod has been sitting idle for a few months now and I even deleted most of my MP3 off of my computer and moved them to my backup drive.
I know why people want to download music, it is cheap.
But, in theory you are going to save and keep music that you like. And most people don't buy CDs. Most artists make a good chunk of their money off of Album sales. So, if we don't buy CD's how are they going to produce more albums. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Meh... Whatever, download till your heart is content. But, thank me for buying hard copies. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Tours make a little bit of money but I seriously doubt artists make most of their money off of tours. My dad (who worked in the pro audio reinforcement business for years) always said "I've never seen anyone make any real money off of a tour".everyone other than maybe metallica complaining about downloaded music i think most artists ive heard of say they really dont make squat off album sales that they make money off going on tour.
to answer your question why someone would download something they dont like it would be because they want to see if they would like it. im more likely to listen to something i normally wouldnt listen to if i download it first rather than risk 10-20 bucks and find out its garbage or that i dont like it. there are alot of really good bands and rappers out there that just cant get on the radio and i wouldnt even consider buying unless i heard it first.
i mean before mp3's and cd's you could tape your favorite songs off the radio. were artists losing money then?
Is it available in Canada now? ... for a while they had traffic from the whole country blocked... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gifim in canada, i dont care //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
