Please explain how every American will have health insurance without the added tax burden on those that CAN afford it, or a sever decrease in quality. Because surley all those that can't afford it, and want it handed to them will cost the tax payers. So what is your solution to our heallthcare system?

Willingly not paying for coverage? I think not. There are MANY cases where the standards for free healthcare (which is already eating up taxpayer money) are not accessible, but adequate private health insurance is still not affordable. Obama isn't paying shit, the taxpayers are. Those with pre existing conditions that are not eligable for moocher healthcare, still have to turn to private companies. If they can't get coverage or it is too much to pay, they fall in this category as well. Your stupid, stick to your U mad bullshit.

Healthcare is out of control right now because hospitals are obligated to treat anyone who comes in, whether they have insurance or not. And since the people who don't have insurance still require health care that costs money, the people who have health insurance get higher premiums to cover the cost of those who don't have insurance. It's incredibly ironic, actually.

I don't want socialized health care, but something needs to be done and Obama's plan is the right step. You say you don't want to pay for other's health insurance through taxes, well guess what: EVERYONE with health insurance is paying for EVERYONE (just not through taxes - it's through their health care plan). Do you know who doesn't pay for healthcare? Those without health insurance. (which is why I called it ironic - did you catch that) And this rationalizes the penalty.

Now I'm sure if you don't pay the yearly tax penalty for not having insurance you won't be automatically charged $25,000 and thrown in jail. It's probably the maximum, maximum penalty if you went without paying for 20 years or something and what the republican propaganda (funded by those who profit off the current system) is trying to make you believe.

If your not clear on something why would you jump up, start callin names, and basically be a douche. This is NOT republican propaganda. It's clear as day, Obama even discussed and supported those terms. That is an actual democratic proposal.
