DEHP 6400 PreAmp problems

I have a Pioneer DEHP 6400 and i recently bought an amp+sub. THe only problem is that when you put the settings to sub woofer out you loose you rear speakers. The tow modes are FRT+REAR or FRT+SW. Is there any way i can get all of the speakers to recive audio and still have a sub. Thanks a lot

I have the same deal with mine. It's like that cuz the 6400's dont come with the 3rd pre-out which is usually dedicated for subs. I think if you run your fronts off the HU, then your rears off one pre-out, then subs on the other, it MIGHT see it the way u want it. Im not sure though, its just something i have thought to try with my own system.

DOes it sound Ok with just the fronts. Its not orrible with me because i drive a regular cab ranger

Can you select FRT + REAR mode and run the rear signal

to your sub amp and use the x-over on the amp.

I have the 7400 and use the HU to run my FRT and REAR speakers

then I run out from the REAR pre-out to my sub amp.

I select the non-fading option so I can adjust the level of the sub

amp to match my mids without changing the fade of my mids.(FRT to REAR)

The 7400 has the option of making the rear pre-out fading or non-fading.

With fading if you fade from frt to rear it will affect the rear pre-out.

With non-fading the rear pre-out is constant and doesn't change when

you fade frt to rear.

Yes... don't use the sub-out option on the HU. Do your lowpass at the sub amp.
