Deh-p960mp Vs. Deh-p860mp

Which one is Top of The Line? Or Both

My friend said that the deh-p960mp is pioneers top of the line deck.

but i disagree, i think both are pioneers top of the line decks. The only differences between both is looks/style, the p960 has two displays/faces and the p860 has one display/face and has DVD Control, but as far as SQ both have the same great sound.

what do you guys think?

The only difference is the dual motorized face on the 960. I researched this very topic when I was debating on the two decks.....ended up going with the 860 for two reasons:

1. price

2. one less motor in the face means less of a chance of the motor(s) going out

Either one would be great, and one thing to consider is the ground trace problem in the 860.....I tend to see it most in that model, but then again, seems like more people have that model, so who knows.

P-9 is the top of the line http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4041_34724,00.html, and i think the 860 is better than 960, because i dont like the dual face, too easy to break or die

Also, Pioneer should be releasing their new decks this year, might want to wait for those.

im REALLY wanting a new 870mp. What else you guys think they could improve on? Any ideas as to when it'll be out?
