the 880 doesn't have the full color screen does it? maybe i just read wrong but i thought it was only the 780 and the 980....btw, is the 980 still going ot be a dual face unit?

980 will be a single face unit, the 880 said it had a full color in the original write up, but you're right it isn't full color.

i think id rather take my 860 because of the color and cool effects, i got it cheaper than that too

Pioneer is coming out with some sexy decks. I wish I would have known before dropping all my dough on an Eclipse 8445. For such an expensive deck, it lacks some basic features like a detatchable face, a pause button, and a remote that changes volume at a reasonable speed. I do respect its SQ abilities though.

I'd still rather have a quality Pioneer though... they know how to make a deck with the right balance of features.
