DEH-9400BH BT phone button not working to pick up calsl or hang up

I can't seem to figure this out. I have a DEH-9400BH and an Incredible 2 android phone. It is paired for calls and for A2DP streaming and I also figured out how to push my calls and contacts over, but for some reason the phone button on the HU and remote will not work to pick up calls or hang up. The button works for everything else. I can touch it to make calls and hold it to access the BT phone options. It only seems like it doesn't work as soon as the call rings up until the call ends. If i use the phone itself to answer and hang up, everything else works as it should. Does anyone have any ideas of why this is?

I'm wondering if this is an issue with the HU and it needs to be exchanges except for the fact that it works during all other operations except in calls. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thank you.
