Defective DEH-80PRS report

I bought a DEH-80PRS a few weeks ago along with a complete new system. The system sounds better than any other sound system i have ever owned. I noticed when adjusting & testing with my Test CD that it had no frequencies response over 10kHzs. After a bunch of trouble shooting, it turns out the 80PRS is defective.

I don't no how common of a problem this is (might only be mine), But since some have reviewed the 80PRS as lacking details, i just wanted to though it out there that maybe the reviews may have been of a defective model.

I really do like the features of the 80PRS, but since that one is going back, this time I will also be considering the CZ702 Clarion & the Kenwood X996.
