Deep bass through ground car drive bys? How to get this effect? Subs in trunk?

Here's my question, can a car with subs in the trunk no wall with a low score score on the TL at the deck and still be loud on the outside?

I've heard a lot of cars go by with systems and some of them have that cool deep vibration through the ground bass and some are just annoying loud noise rattle from their trunk (but still loud I guess).

What does it take to have that cool deep vibration bass through the ground and vibrate windows inside people's homes?

I haven't tested my two eD 13ov.2's @ 1200 watts yet, but I'm going to have a friend drive by with the music bumping to see what kind of bass I'd hear when the car passes me.

Will sound deadening the entire trunk area help produce this low vibration bass into the ground feeling? I've already great foam my trunk lid but I haven't really deaden the trunk flow.

Sound deaden the ish out of the car, and that helps a lot. Buddy of mine has an Escalade with 300 sq ft of deadener in it. Not a rattle to be heard.

same here i spent alot of money on my system too and if people can hear then oh well they can turn theirs up or ignore it when i have mine turned up i dont do it to pisss people off but i cant help if its too loud

I don't like being "discriminated" against because I like audio because some idiot goes through someone's neighborhood laughing at making Christmas ornaments shake on the tree. I did when I was 15, but now it's trivial and old.

you have to tune low....the frequencies you speak of are sub frequencies
