deck just died, lookin for advice/suggestions

my headunit just shit the bed, it was this old school *** AIWA i only bought it cause it had the auxiliary input on the front for my mp3 player. Well the time has come to get a new deck and i figured i might as well get a whole system to go along with it since i got a new job. Right now im interested in just the deck at the moment, but will later be looking for 4 good speakers and a set of subs and amps. I know that decks can cost a fortune but i want something as cheap as i can get but still not sacrificing performance. i was looking at the older premier and kenwood models cause they are way cheaper on ebay then the new models. any tips? i drive a 1991 bmw 318i if that helps at all

i have a sony xplode deck paid like 400 bucks for it.... ( mom got it for me for xmas ) im changing to a flip out... great deck just no pause buttom or a remote.....

I know some of the pioneer 2006 series has front Aux input... and the one I have (9800 BT) has aux on the back.

Yep, the Pioneer 6800 has the front aux port but I think it's 2.5mm so it'll require an adapter. The other new Pioneer models have it in the back.
